For those of you in need of computer help, we have boards for that to. Also, we use an adsense revenue sharing mod, read the post in the announcements board for more info on that.
Dude if you want members on there, you should reduce the forums... Like make a Gaming forum, and have all those other forums set as sub-forums, making your look more active... Do you see what I'm saying?? Because people are less likely to join a site with what looks like so little posts... And if you have stuff set into subforums, it will look more active... But be as active as it is now... Which means more people are likely to join... I hope that made sense LULZ
Thanks for the suggestion but it has 4 categories already, if you think you can do a better job then let me know and I'll let you mess around with it, with limited admin priveleges (no database access for example). And I have a backup of it so knock yourself out.
Okay... I'm in... You may also want a newer theme... Or possibly even a different forum... Like phpBB... I use phpBB2 on one forum, and phpBB3 on another... There aren't many mods for phpBB3... But the interface is awesome... I personally like the CarbonCopy theme xDD
I might switch. But if I do, I'll probably switch to smf. I've tried using the phpbb3 admin cp on a friends site and that was a mess. I couldn't even tell where to add a new forum at, if theres a mod that simplifies it, than maybe... And the problem with adding a new skin, I'd have to go in and edit all kinds of junks to get the existing mods working on it.
Okay... I'm done... You see how with less forums it make it "look" more active?? Now all your forums in the games section have been put into another forum... Making your forum look smaller too... It makes it more attractive to the user, and easier to use..
Next is you need to find a theme... you find a good one, and I will make you a logo xDDD
And about phpBB3... Yeah, it took me about a week to get used to it... But it's got a few advantages... About SMF, I've never used it myself... Well I've been on sites that use it, but I haven't seen the ACP
I have a theme in mind but the hard part will be transferring it. I've used one theme on my old proboards for quite some time and I think it looks great, built it myself from scratch. Here it is: http://gameindex.proboards24.com/
