I would check out your site if this stupid computer's antivirus didn't think anything that ends with .co.cc is a virus...

Well David..
a very big warning that tells people their chess.com account will be terminated without a refund and probably IP blocked when they get caught using it would be a nice addition.

Sogo7: Chessbot is not available for download, for obvious reasons

In fact, today I got an email from the founder of Chess.com. He congratulated me but said Chessbot is against the rules, and asked me what I was going to do; i replied i'm done testing with Chessbot anyway; he didn't terminate my account, so I'm grateful

At last someone who appreciates java for fun. I'm going to check out your fractal code. Did you write it yourself? Your site is better presented than mine .http://tmiris.freeiz.com/

Erik and the rest of the team are passionate about the game and consider the use of engines to assist or even fully automate play a very serious matter. In fact as far as I know they are one of the few online chess sites that actively discourage useage of these apps by or against their members, one very similiar to yours was actually removed from the android market place around a week ago.

However.. What you have done so far is pretty good but don't stop there. Stand the problem on its head to take your science project to the next level. If you ran an online chess game website how would you detect if somebody was cheating?

Yes, I wrote everything on the site myself. Your games are awesome, especially the Rubik's cube; did you use Java2D or 3D? Also, how did you learn Java? I read Core Java by Cay Horstmann three times.

Sogo7, thanks for the tips. There are ways to detect cheating, but (really smart) cheaters will just come up with more ways to get around; but it doesn't hurt to try to stop cheating. But cheating in the first place is not smart; I don't think I was "cheating" because I wasn't trying to artificially increase my rating, some of the games I said I was running a program. Actually, I'm planning to make my website record games between my chess engine and humans; my program can learn from previous games.

Sogo7, here's a list of ideas to stop cheating:

are the move times regular?
does the player spend more time on harder moves than easier moves?
does the player ever blunder?
has the player's rating instantly gone up?
has the player had any bad days?
does the player ever resign when losing?
does the player tend to go for more material when winning a lot?

These are just some things I've noticed when running Chessbot
