That's a week in the summer when so many are on vacation.
I did 4 times that in the fall a year ago. I'm still adjusting to the new search programs put in place. Search metrics have changed.

I would ask one of you who do use twitter a question. Do you find that people who don't agree with something somebody writes is not followed or liked? Does that mean that people just agree to get contacts? My observations seems to believe this is the fact. People seem to not hold their own beliefs so they can get followers. Am I off base?

If you use twitter to advertise your site then it's just announcements and updates that you post concerning your site; best to avoid general opinions on world matters

@Visual - Focus that tenacity on improving your website. You may have a lot of visitors but how long do they stay?

1. Do we really have to wait for the wallpapers to load just to view each wallpapers? Can't you include a button to scroll each wallpapers? Maybe a "featured content slider jquery" is needed.

2. This directory is open --> http://visualrainbow.com/images/

3. Fix the navigation. It's hard to follow each wallpapers. Add more details like when was the wallpaper uploaded and by who. Maybe add a comment system to engage your visitors. Also add purchase option like shopping cart.

4. You have duplicate domain. You have to pick from the two; WWW or non-WWW eg. (http://www.visualrainbow.com or http://www.visualrainbow.com).

5. Each of your navigation have their own domain (http://handheld.visualrainbow.com, http://3screen.visualrainbow.com). No one does that.

6. The SOPA image should be linked to an article indicating why we should support NO SOPA. Add rel="nofollow".

7. Maybe a huge design revamp is needed. Browse the internet get ideas.

8. No right click javascript is a thing of the fast. You can't prevent people from peeking at your source code.

9. You are using the RSS feed wrong. You should post each wallpapers in your rss. People don't care to follow your RSS when it's about updates or logs about your site.

Kur, most of what you just wrote is contrary to google analytics. They recommend not chooosing either www. or :// and to leave it to them. This way you can find a site if either is put in the browser.

Since at least 2 years ago everyone uses sub domains. I'm not sure where you get your information, but thanks for the comment.

I'm back to correct myself. Think about your twitter, aren't you kur.twitter ot kur/twitter?
On myspace I believe you would be kur.myspace.com

The only thing I may add is tags to the images. My dropdown does not have it as part of it.

I'm with shock. I'm not about giving opinions, just information on image additions. I put that sopa picture there because my cloud service wanted their users to do it. I agree with it, but I don't see the need to write an article on it. Everybody knows already. It's just me showing support. You can get all the nasty opinions out there you ever want without me.
It's not my place to tell others what to think, how to react, and to get them to agree with a narrow minded point.

If you're talking about the middle of the pages where you see the wallpapers, it's just html pages put in sequence. I tried a jquery slideshow before and they all load slowly if you have larger pictures or more than 4 or 5 pictures. It has something to do with preloading them. I provide what you see so people can see some of the quality, which you can't see with small thumbnail images. When you visit those websites you end up clicking on a bunch of bad blurry pictures and end up downloading none of them.

You should make the theme a bit less dark, put a blank index.html on ./images, make thumbs, and if you want SEO do not use a subdomain for every corner of your site.

No thumbs for me.

As for subdomains being bad for seo, read this
http://www.seo-theory.com/2012/05/02...s-bad-for-seo/

Google does it for themselves and they treat subdomains like directories already. It does not hurt seo.

Thank you for your input.

It's your site, I just gave my opinions. I would never use subdomains for each corner of my sites, but it is me.

Nice site, I guess I will use some wallpappers someday.
By the way, you should add more resolutions.
