If you looped an email sender and accidentally spammed more than some pre-defined limit per second, it’s hard to argue against a banning. Mail spamming is taken pretty seriously these days.

These tests should be done on a local server, install WAMP or similar.
About SPAM system, it happened that the security system allows only a few e-mails every 30 minutes just to prevent fraudsters from using their services.
