hey,
sorry for my foolish question…i am a newbies here…and know very little…so if you can plz healp…
i want to display some major post in homepage with ‘‘continue reading’’ like this template…

and after click ''continue reading ‘’ whole post will come in a new page…
how can i do it???
help me plz…i tried much but can’t

Just create new page with full content and make link on the “continue reading” text

A link is going to be in the form ’ text
to put an image into link like the page your quoting its going to be something like:
<?a href =“somepage.html”><?img src =“imageFolder/niceimage.jpg”><?/a> You put several links like this on your landing page. The images should display and when clicked on will take the user to the relative link eg somepage.html

just take the question mark out- put this in so code displays

steps:

  1. Please create new menu item – right click on menu – new menu item – create name
  2. Click on element which should work as link – right click – properties - link to another place – Page on your website – select menu item – save draft – apply
  3. If it is text – select text – click on hyperlink sign
  4. Click on this menu – fill the information
  5. Publish
