Hi,

Newbie here. While opening account in free hosting here, I did not put any domain name. Maybe thats why I am given a random username like A-B-C.

Now after parking my domain XYZ .com, the problem is the linked website with my owned domain is A-B-C.000webhostapp .com instead of XYZ.000webhostapp .com. Can i change this username A-B-C of my account so i get XYZ in my linked website, ftp etc.?

And again, what is this linked website of A-B-C.000webhostapp .com for? do i need it or can i unlink it? Would it redirect to XYZ .com always?

Sorry for the dumb questions. Kudos to the community, its my first post. :slight_smile:

Welcome to the community. If you haven’t installed wordpress or started working on your xyz website then you should simply delete the ABC site in your account settings.

After this time choose a name which will be matching with your purchased domain and park it there.

thanks a lot @Ausbel! deleting the whole site worked. Now I can use my own username!
