FTP uploading problems

Hey, I’m new here and now I having problems with uploading my website. I have already double(so many times…) check my username and password. They are all correct … TT. So I wondering is it a problem in how I connect to the host .
I use laptop (with mac os ) connecting internet by sharing wifi(cellphone hotspot) and my ftp software is filezilla(I have tried Cyberduck too …). But at the end … still can’t connect to the host successfully.

  1. Is it the problem with the way I connect to internet(cellphone hotspot)?
  2. My ftp setting is “active mode”?(is it fine?)

please help me fix these problemsTT
thank you so much, so grateful TT

Hi @cur56567!

  1. Please go to 000webhost cPanel > Settings > General > Change password and pick up a password to remember

  2. Please go to https://files.000webhost.com and login with:

• username: hudealku
• password: your previous chosen password

Can you login? Of course you can

3. Now please go to FileZilla and use these settings:

• host: files.000webhost.com
• username: hudealku
• password: your previous chosen password
• protocol: Plain FTP

Can you connect?

I’ve tried to change password and successful login with it before I post this…TT.

I’m glad it started working. It’s possible that the first network or the ISP was blacklisting us.
