How long does https take to display domain name

I have done all I need to do to set up SSL on my site using cloudflare for my more than 12 hours ago, uptil now https has not displayed on my domain name. How does it take?

It can take upto 24 hours.

Hi is your ssl certificate is active? And if it is active the have you turned those clouds to orange?

I did not know I needed to turn the clouds to orange. I have done it now.
