How to automatically backup your website!

#1

Not having backups sucks, not?
Specifically if you deleted your website by mistake.
In this tutorial, I developed a tool that auto-backups your website each month!
(Each month, so if executed before 30days, the backup will not work, sorry guys! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: )
So, here is the easy tutorial!

The tutorial

  1. Register at 000webhost.ml/backup/register.php
  2. Download this file.
  3. Upload it to your website files in public_html, not in any subdirectory, and do not rename the file.
  4. Open the file, and replace “YOUR EMAIL HERE” and “YOUR PASSWORD HERE” with the ones you used on signup of backup program.
  5. Go to your cPanel>Settings>cron jobs, and setup a new cron job that runs monthly, and type in the textbox backup.php then hit done.
  6. Success! You create a monthly auto-backup for your website! Do not loose your website again from now on!

To-Do

  1. Create a download backup page. :white_check_mark:
  2. Create a database backup feature (will require the update of your old backup.php).
  3. Create a logs area. :white_check_mark:
  4. Style it up!

This project has been discontinued.
Or maybe, will it be available in CKSoftwares API later? No one knows
