How to create a CNAME?

I have the same problem.
I want to use my own domain with 000webhost.

Domain is vyazanie.us, registered at Uniregistry.
I followed the Uniregistry FAQ and created CNAME record pointed www.vyazanie.us to vyazanieus.000webhostapp.com
But when I’m saving it at https://www.000webhost.com/members/website/vyazanieus/domain
I get error message: domain CNAME must be pointed webhostapp.

What am I doing wrong?

you just need to wait until dns propagation is compete. try again in a few hours

It is very easy but for that you should check that you have to right to make custom CNAME if you have then just click on the custom CNAME. Create as per you requirements and most of the website took 24 to 48 hours to propagate that so wait till then.

my namecheap.com domain is asking for host ip when i try to create cname. What should it be? ‘www’?

How to add a CNAME to your NameCheap hosted domain

Log in to your NameCheap account at http://www.namecheap.com
Click My Account in the upper right, to open the account dropdown
Click Manage Domains from the account dropdown
Click on the domain you want to set up, in the Your Domains section
Click All Host Records under Host Management, in the menu on the left
Enter a Host Name in the first column www or *
Enter “yourwebsite.000webhostapp.com” in the IP Addreess/URL field
Select CNAME from the Record Type dropdown
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page

Just create a new CNAME from domain control panel, point to your 000webhost account and that’s it.

Also, you have to wait for the CNAME update in the domain name server to take effect.
