Pb with Moodle : FTP file quota exceeded

Hi there.

I tried to install Moodle 2.0 ont my account but I need to transfer 10700 files for that. :mad:

I’m not sure to understand very well what FTP Quota means. Do you think that the FTP Quota concerns the maximum number of files which can be stored on my account or refers only to the number of files which can be transfered with a FTP tool like Filezilla ?

The FTP quota limits the number of files that can be stored in your account. There are two different quotas, depending on the server you are hosted on. Some boxes allow a max of 6000 files, other boxes allow a max of 10000 files. So transferring 10700 files isn´t going to work

It seems that freehostia proposed Moodle its basic hosting plan. I’ll try with that provider.
