Hi all,
Can someone please explain to me this sleep feature properly. Iāve read the articles posted by hexa and have set my site to sleep between the hours of 0400-0500 GMT; however my site seems to be sleeping before this time for a longer period.
Have I used the incorrect time zone for the setting? If so, what is the time zone this setting corresponds to?

NOTE: For someone who lives off benefits I cannot afford to purchase hosting, hence why I select free hosting. I am totally for this new feature āsleepā but please do fix the issues with it.
Could you possibly offer another solution for those who wish to select it. My suggestion would be allow the users to
choose a sleep feature or the banner option. I would rather have my site up 24 hours with a banner advert compared to a 20-22 hour up time.

Both websites above are hibernating(this is not sleep anymore) for 2 days. We badly needed this websites asap or else we will miss our professorās deadline and miss the graduation.

Is still sleeping when it says active and 18h untill it sleeps again.
I am baffled.
My sleep time was set to start at 14:00 and my site www.aimwell.org was still down a few minutes ago.
I went into CPanel Settings, General, and changed the sleep start time to 13:00
My site came back up again immediately. You could try changing the start time for your site to sleep.

Hi,this is the second time that happens, even if my sleep hour is from 22:00 to 23:00 till now my site is still sleeping

I have not tried it yet but it is probably better than using this stupid server as a hosting service.
I would not waste my money on this with all of itās problems this far.
It would just be cheaper to host a website your self rather than using this terrible service.
In addition, the only way to contact support is through the means of the Community Forums which is not very helpful if someone comes across a problem with their website hosting. Iāve lost my interest in purchasing their service now. No one should purchase a service that canāt even show that they can handle the problems not just on a timely manner, but by attempting to force people into upgrading to their other optionsā¦
So just use a different method to host your website because this is most-likely going to happen more frequently than you think.

I too was unable to figure out how to use the programā¦ I spent this entire time trying to figure it out, but I had no such luck.
I am just going to figure out how to do it for free. I know that there was one way to host a website for free just by using your own computer, similar to how the program that I suggested was supposed to work, but it is supposed to be harder because you would have to find a way to port forward or something like that. A friend told me about that method before, I just canāt remember how to do it.
I hope that you find what youāre looking for though.
