Setup a status.io page for your website (paid)

Maybe you want an easy to view status page for your website, databases and related functions you provide?
This won’t be needed if you just run a website on 000webhost for free but if you’ve other servers/functions you wish to provide an uptime on this will be handy; so beginners need look elsewhere for any easier status page sorry.

Head over to http://status.io

Hit up your emails and confirm your account

Get your website information input correctly.

Choose the design for your status page

Invite any other staff members that pay for your servers etc

Create your first monitor basically, choose a container you may have three servers in different locations for example.

Continue the trial without activiating if you aren’t ready to pay upfront for this.

Now I’ll be adding a monitor for the database that runs our staff systems

You need to intergrate the status.io into anything you want monitored there are a few ways of doing this

If you are going to push updates or perform upgrades on a piece of hardware you can notify your members/staff/visitors via the status page.

A full status page will then display when requested or you can embed within applications etc
It shows your monitors, if they are online/offline/experiencing issues etc.

If you feel happy enough that status.io is providing enough help/information to your users to prevent unwanted emails spammed asking why services are down then you should probably for the lowest package before your trial ends.
