Cool A few of my favorite (free) apps - 05-30-2008, 09:28 PM

MWSnap3 for taking screenies, very light weight and doesn't take up tons of system resources.

Notepad++ for editing

Filezilla for managing ftp

What are your favorite applications?

is Dreamweaver free?

Well, here is mine: anim8or (3d modeler/animator), gamemaker(easy gamebuilder), core ftp(ftp uploading), notepad (original, to read html documents fast), visual c++(c++ programming), eclipse(java programming), open office(office package) and also a program I dont remember the name on, but it was just like illustrator just better(logo designer).

Btw. Im sure I forgot at least 10 other programs I often use...

Boffel,
If you do recall the name of the illustrator program let us know. I need something that acts like adobe illustrator and I'd love to try it out.

You guys shouldnt have gotten me started on this:

Smartftp - FTP
Filezilla - FTP (Hate it, but ubuntu again)
Gimp - Photo editing (Hate it, but I have no real choice on my ubuntu partition)
Paint.NET - Photo editing, much better than gimp
Firefox - Web browsing (I cant believe this didnt come up)

Google Earth - The Earth
CCleaner - Crap Cleaner
