I had redone my INDEX FILE.
I had deleted my original one. Now whenever I upload the new one, titled INDEX.HTML, it shows up in FILE MANAGER as INDEX_HTML.HTML!?

And when I go to my website it shows INDEX OF....
What am I doing wrong here?

try deleting all index files, then upload it again(no uppercase letters).

I deleted my index.html file...again. and it still doesn't work.
(Btw - I didn't use caps before, I just used them in my post to highlight the topics of discussion)
I went to my /PUBLIC-HTML file, clicked on it; I deleted my index html.html file.; uploaded my new index file and it does the same thing!

It doesn't matter if the file is named index, or index.html, it always comes up index.html.html?

Same here. I'm just moving out my classic gaming fansites to webhost, but my index file wont work when I access my site. It's already placed on the public_html folder, named index.html.

Another question though, I received feedback that my site is still under review. When will it be viewable? I'm seeing the site as normal but others can't view it properly yet.

I have a similar problem with my page. I did have a template that I deleted and now I want to build the page on my own. I uploaded a simple html file and the site displays Index of /
Meranda 2100 Revised.htm (as a link)

the site is http://www.meranda2100.hostei.com/

I don't want to go back to the website builder, I want to put my own files on the site, any help would be appeciated.

rename Meranda 2100 Revised.htm to index.html and all should be fine
