i guess you are using website builder, right?
If yes then the problem is with the TinyMCE editor. It´s an old version that strips some tags like <script> and basically parses the HTML / JS code as plain text, therefore making it unusable. I did a little tutorial on how to overcome that, basically you need to upgrad TinyMCE yourself to the latest version and it will process code just fine.
