Default How to download my templates? - 06-08-2008, 11:12 AM

Hi,

I downloaded my templates to my various websites using Other FTP successfully. But when I entered my website addresses in the Internet Browser, I got error messages. I couldn't find my websites in the internet.

When I downloaded the templates provided by 000WebHost, I could access my websites with the messages that they are under construction. I couldn't get this message when I downloaded my own templates.

I used the Internet Browser (FireFox) open the templates from 000WebHost, I couldn't copy and paste my templates on them.

I really hope some members can help me on this matter as I had spent more than 3 days trying to find a sloution.

Thanks and cheers

Hi,

What is your domain? It would be useful to see what error message comes exactly

you need to login to the admin from website builder, there you can create pages, and everything , you get under construction message because you don't have anything

Smile How do I download my templates? - 06-12-2008, 01:58 AM

Hi Dpalain,

Thank you for your help. I will login to admin thru website builder. How do I download my own customised templates onto my site? By copying or uploading?

I don't want to use the templates provided by 000webhost as I have to do alot of modification. Can I also put articles on a weekly basis onto my site?

I wish to add a blog onto my site by using WP. Do you think it's good idea?

Cheers

Well, I can answer that, you can update your site whenever and however often you want to, and as for adding a blog, its a great idea, I have one myself. As for uploading your own customized content, all you have to do is login to FTP, and upload it.

My sites:
My Blog | My Forum | Flash Games | File Sharing | Downloads

http://000webchat.wiredtron.com
the 000webhost support live chat, talk with members, users, and other people related. come here for support about anything, that another member could help with.

Hi Sizzlefire,

Thank you for your advice. Earlier, I uploaded my own customized template and content, my site didn't show up in the internet when I did a search using Firefox browser. It only showed Index and a few words.

But it did showed up when I uploaded the template from 000webhost with the message that it's under construction. I am baffled by these things.

I need to do a lot of modification to the template from 000webhost, which I don't want to spend too much time doing so.

I found that using the FTP is giving me error message. So I use the other FTP but got a problem as I need to upload a file individually. I can't upload the whole folder, which consists of many files.

Hope that you or the other members can help me to resolve my problems.

Cheers
