in IE8x all stays in same window, in FF 3.6 aswell...

but i read that users can overrule that by always opening new content in a new tab or browser? its somewehre in the users browsers settings.

just as overruling CSS in the browser settings FF---> view > pagestyle > no style

IE8x---> view > style > no style

so if you used a mootools or jquery framework then the contens (divs) woul always show where you want them to be, unless some ignorent user has turned of javascript
and that would be follish cause most sites heavily depend on javascript (eg: flash sites)
so these user be missing lots of webexperience by turning of the javascript.
