Default How can i increase the width of content area of page ? - 05-21-2012, 07:44 PM

Hi

Template i have selected is theoldforest. Main content area is smaller, leaving large blank space on both sides. How can i increase size of main content area ?

The page area widths are set in the CSS styles for this template. You will need to manually edit the code, but keep in mind that adjusting the overall page content width will also require resizing all the graphics and other smaller content areas as well. This particular template does not resize easily sorry to say.

I agree, I inspected his site with Firebug and oh my too much work and to be honest, after playing around a bit, I gave up. Definitely not the easiest theme to modify

When you look in the CSS it should say in the code if it's fixed, flexible or responsive. You probably want either flexible or responsive.

For me, I really like to increase the width of content area of page. It gives me more space for the content pages.
