Exclamation Problem after upload - 05-29-2012, 01:58 AM

So, recently I bought a domain from GoDaddy. I placed the already existent domain to 000webhost, changed the nameservers and all.

Well, I finally uploaded my website after 48 hours using File Manager in the public_html folder.

However, if you take a look at my site you might know what I mean. The HTML file is not actually showing up but the actual code is showing up, did I mess up or something? I'm a bit confused. The file size is 12kb...I honestly doubt that's the problem.

Please, PLEASE! Help. I'm on my hands and knees I don't know what to do, I'm extremely new at this.

Is it a problem with my HTML? How do I fix it?

Please note the only file I've submitted is the index so most links won't be clickable.

Just a quick look tells me that you may have forgotten to upload all your supporting scripts and stylesheets that your page is looking for.

Folder: /css/........???
Folder: /js/.........???

When following your link to your website, I see Index of /HTML. Going to HTML I see a page about designs. I don't understand the problem. If your trying to get your website to show up at http://gfxworkshop.com then move the files from /HTML to public_html.
Hope that is the solution to what you are talking about.

Hey there, I actually managed to transfer and upload the files. The only moodkiller was the Index thing before that, can't seem to fix it. Can you please explain in detail how to remove the white page before entering my site? Thanks.

You need to put all your files (ie: index and all others) inside the folder "public_html". At the moment you have them in a sub-folder "HTML" which is inside the main "public_html" folder. That is why you have to make the extra click to get inside the "HTML" folder to go to your site.

Cheers!
