Default Adding blog on new website builder - 08-04-2012, 07:47 PM

How do I get the blog to show up using the new website builder?
I drag it down, its says select or create new. Either one I choose, after I write something to test it, it never stays on the page, nor can I find it again.

Can anyone help?

i dont know how you would do this but i would suggest that you install wordpress instead, its highly customziable, and has an excelent content management system. Here is an example of my wordpress site, its a customized theme but still - http;//urbanscoop.net.

Thank you. I have actually gotten it to half work.
Now I can't get my gallery to show up. It shows up on the builder side, but not on the live side, even after saving and publishing.

Could you elaborate on the issue your having with Wordpress?

You say that when editing a page, you want a gallery to be embed into the page? The steps are to:

1. Upload the images all together at one time
2. A new tab in the media window will appear that says 'Gallery (x # of images in galley)
3. You can configure the gallery if you click on that tab, and at the very bottom it will say "Insert gallery". Click that button to put the image gallery onto the page / post.

Make sure to preview the page to double-check everything is working properly.

I am not using wordpress, just using the "new website builder" from this site.

I put a gallery on the page and when I put something on any page it shows up "every" page. But when I go directly to the site, the gallery only shows up on the contact page and is black on the other pages.

Sounds like some sort of code issue. I wouldn't use the integrated Website builder from 000webhost if I was you, as its just not the best software out there. Try Wordpress.

I can even help you design your website if you'd like. Send me an email if interested.

P.S. Right now, in its current state, your website is REALLY hard on the eyes. Its just difficult to look at and unorganized, which ultimately means its unprofessional. If you want help, like I said, email me: adrian_n_lopez@hotmail.com

I sent you a message.
I don't need it to be professional since its just for our friends, but anything would be better.
