Question How to change html/php filename? - 08-10-2012, 07:23 PM

Hi all,
I have a website (http://idoit.ca) and I want pages to be named idoit.ca/links.html instead of idoit.ca/1_16_links.html
How can I do this?
Thanks

Hello,

To achieve this, you will create your website with tools other than the "Website Builder".

You could rename each page manually, using the cPanel File Manager. If you opt to do this, you will also have to edit every link to said page(s) within your pages/navbar source code.

Note: This could mess up any functions etc that were written with reference to said pagess. These functions would also have to be edited to ref the new page names also.

Thanks Doug, but it's not possible, as the contents of pages are obfuscated with Zend.
