Default error uploading jpegs - view as question marks - 11-16-2008, 07:44 PM

hi i am new to website design, and i have recently created a site using html. when i view it on my computer (before uploading) it looks great. but when i uploaded it to this site all of the pictures (jpegs) come up as question marks in blue boxes.
i have tried deleting them and uploading them again, and i have adjusted the file permissions (making them 777s), but nothing changes it. i have no idea what i am doing wrong. could somebody please help me figure this out.
my website is http://www.nateklergie.site40.net/

thank you!

did you use a software on that? your site is on review in this time of my comment.i cant view you site. review your code, specially the src of your imges if its url is right. did you use absolute or relative path? do not include any drive parameters in the url src of your images, try images/img1.jpg for example.hope this help.

You need to upload the pictures, not just the page...

r4v3n4d-
i didnt use any software i just wrote the html in textedit. the scr code is def right, especially cause when i made it and previewed the site (before uploading), and it looked fine. what do you mean by absolute or relative paths? and i dont know what drive parameters are either... all my pictures just have names like gallery.jpg, info.jpg etc. does it need to say image/ in the image name? sorry im not up on the whole terminology.

yathishostrox-
okay i uploaded all the pages and jpgs into the public_html folder. thats what you mean right? they all just go in that one folder?

thank you!
