ok so i am running a rsps forum

runescape private server

i was wondering if i will be able to put a mysql data base up to my site to make it where they have to register on the forums befor they can play my server...

am i able to do that please?

In short yes. You can put up a mysql database, run a forum with it and have people register on the forum

hmm, i kind of doubt you'll be able to do the second part:

that would require the server to connect to your database remotely, which you can't do.
you could probably do it on paid hosting though.

That's possible I know for a fact, as in a World of Warcraft clan I used to run, we had that with Remote Database Connectivity, as FnCool as stated. You CAN NOT do it with Free Hosting, but only with a paid hosting account, you should try Hosting24.com they can probably do it and they're super cheap!
