are you doing <img src="photo.gif"/>?
It should work 99%. Check that you have the quotes around your src.

One example:

<div class="logo_l">
<a href="#"><img src="1.jpg" class="img" width="480" height="280" alt="" /></a>
</div>

and I upload the 1.jpg in public_html file

If the images are blank, perhaps there was a problem uploading. Try re-upload the images to your public_html folder.
Also avoid putting \ in front of the filename of the image.
HTML Code:
<a href="#"><img src="/1.JPG" class="img" width="480"  height="280" alt="" /></a>
Finally, remember that the server is case sensitive. File with names 1.jpg and 1.JPG refer to two different files.

Hi,
What FTP program are you using to upload your image files to the server?

Sometimes the "File Manager" and "Another File Manager" are problems uploading image files. I think "File Manager" have any option to indicate that the file you want to upload a binary file and not a text file type.

Have you tried using another FTP program like Filezilla?
