How to edit the website code - 04-20-2012, 04:09 PM

Hello all, This is the first time i have been developing a website and i was recommended to this one. It seems nice and efficient sofar, however i am unable to edit the main website code. I have downloaded the default file and i have written my own code. How can i upload it and replace the old one with my new one?

All help appreciated
