I installed PHPBB and had my forum up and running. I decided it would be a good idea to download the two backup files so i made a backup and downloaded it. I also downloaded a backup from my forum of all the posts.

When installing a mod i messed up and thought if i just deleted it all and them uploaded the backup files it would work but it doesn't ????

I have reloaded my account so it is completely empty and have the Public.html backup with all my forum files and the SQL backup.

When i uploaded everything and went onto my site there was no forum because i had not installed PHPBB and therefore didn't create a admin user and password.

I deleted everything again then installed PHPBB in hope that when i go to file manager and delete everything then upload my backup files it will work but it didn't ???

So what am i supposed to do.

I have the whole backup for my forum including all the Public.html files, SQL backup and even a Forum posts backup so what do i do to get it up and running again.

Please help as soon as you can

Do you have a backup ending in .sql? Recreate your database. If not... reinstall...
