Although I am a PHP newbie at the moment, I wanted to ask if I have to install and configure PHP on my computer, its already on 000webhosting so surely I don't need it?

I am also thinking of using high tech scripts such as log in ect ect.

Local php testing on your computer is a good way to test things before having them go live.

You dont need it on your computer, however for testing purposes, it is useful, however unlike dwhite, i suggest xampp: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html
