Smile Connection??? More information please - 12-20-2008, 11:28 PM

Hello hawkelite,

"Connection???"

Please provide the forum with more information about your problem. What error messages exactly do you get, and are they when using IE, - FireFox, Cpanel, or your ftp program?

That error message sounds allot like a MySQL Database error message, but I don't know without clear details.

Kind Regards
ZenPro

The chances are if a box appeared in your browser stating a MySQL error; the servers were probably just being restarted and would be down for the usual 5-10 seconds maximum. Most of the time a simple refresh fixes this. Like ZenPro said though I think you're going to have to be a bit more specific. It'd seem like the ideal error message you'd get via 000's MySQL error on a server restart or via the FTP. I'm sure the members or myself can help you out more if you can give us more information or even better; a few screenshots.

Smile Connection??? MySQL database Config.php - 12-23-2008, 02:11 AM

Hello hawkelite,

OK it sounds like you have a problem connecting to your MySQL database in your "config.php" source code on line 8. "config.php on line 8"

And without knowing what your exact source code is, I can not see where the mistake or syntax error is - I can only advise you to Search Google for "mysql_connect() Too many connections in"

And:
"mysql_select_db(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in"

You might also try and post the question again on the forum that owns or belongs to the config.php script source file. They would know what to look for.

Kind Regards
ZenPro
