What moneyback guarantees do you offer?
he moneyback guarantees that we offer are defined in our service level agreements. By definition, our SLAs get more strict with the higher-tiered hosting solutions, but even the most basic solutions provide monetary re-imbursement in the event of an extended unscheduled outage. It should be noted that our SLA only applies to unscheduled outages that are within our control (for example, if an outage is caused by a client not renewing their domain name, the SLA would not apply).
What is your average uptime?
Over the last 5 years, we have only breached our SLA twice. One was due to scheduled maintenance running over time and the second was due to a transformer explosion at the data centre literally blowing up one of our servers (SLA was exceeded due to the time it took to procure and provision a new server and restore from backup). In both cases, refunds were automatically provided without the need for customers to request it.
What is your support response time and what does it cover?
We offer 24x7 support via email. For services that cost $50 per month or higher, we do offer telephone support. We can provide assistance in developing your site, but it should be noted - most of us have an engineering background, not a design one. Additional work over and above what could be considered part of your general hosting package is generally charged at a negotiable rate, agreed upon prior to the commencement of work. Support response time can vary (especially during the wee hours of the morning when we have fewer staff on) but there is a portion of the SLA that covers response times.
Do you have any coupons or discounts?
At the moment, we have an invite-only special on Virtual Servers where if you upgrade a service to a virtual server, you can get a 100-domain Plesk license included for free for 6-months (Saving $180.00). This offer is available to existing customers, but we can offer it to you now.
What else can you tell about your company and services?
The biggest thing that differentiates us from the crowd is the quality of our systems. We use only enterprise-level gear, including SAS hard disk drives instead of SATA. We also have complete fault tolerance in all of our networking equipment. This means that we're a bit more expensive, but a lot more reliable as a result.
