O OMNovember 4, 2014 Massive long term reliability issues, customer care hard to get hold of and when you do get through, they try to deflect the blame back to the customer.
My business is suffering and they don't care. Am looking for another hosting company ASAP.

T TonyAugust 20, 2013 1and1 was below average for 2 years. Decided to leave for another webhost, so I cancelled my account. With 2 different confirmations of the cancelled account, they still billed me 3 months later. To add insult to injury it was on a expired card. They then sent the bill to COLLECTIONS. Are you kidding me? Sending a bill for a cancelled account to mess up my credit? After years of trying to talk to them, the only way anything got done was filing a BBB complaint.
NEVER choose 1&1, ever. EVER. I cannot stress this enough.
D David FibushAugust 12, 2011 I develop and maintain websites for non-profit organizations on a volunteer, no-cost basis. 10 of these websites are hosted on 1and1. My experience with 1and1 has been excellent. There has been no noticeable downtime. The occasional support I have requested has been prompt and knowledgeable. Spam filtering on email works reasonably well. Their prices are good. Highly Recommended!

H Hate IT All The TimeAugust 13, 2009 I work in the IT Dept at a college in Texas and we use 1and1. Every other week we waist time answering phone calls telling members of our staff that our emails are down AGAIN! You could take a server being down for an answer, the first time, maybe the second, after that NO MORE EXCUSE!
