Review of gaiahost.coop by User on 2014/02/10 at 17:27I was disappointed with Gaia host as I really enjoy supporting local companies but their services are truly lacking compared to the competition.
Review of gaiahost.coop by Don on 2012/10/27 at 14:39Charles at Gaia Host is smug, arrogant and disagreeable. He is the kind of person who should not be in business for himself. When you go into business for itself you need to be a people person. If you are not a people person then you shouldn't open up shop. Customer service at Gaia Host is a JOKE!!! They can't get anything done on time, take forever to get back to their customers and are argumentative when questioned. Please do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and don't do any business with Gaia Host Collective. Gaia Host Collective is owned by Charles Uchu Strader, the rude person who dragged his feet getting back to me and NEVER gave me a straight answer.
Review of gaiahost.coop by charles uchu strader on 2011/09/09 at 15:30Sadly an unsavory individual has chosen to defame me and the business I am an worker-owner in. The person is not really named "Jason" and the person was never directly a customer of GAIA Host. He was a sub-contractor of another unsavory person that we had tried to help.
That primary unsavory individual came to us literally crying after another unsavory and disgruntled sub-contractor of his hacked his outsourced hosting servers. We rescued his servers and his customers from disaster.
Neither of those individuals every paid us any money and in fact stole money from the customers we rescued. We honored that payments customers were duped into paying that individual, by providing hosting services without trying to collect money from them again. The only thing we ever got from that nasty person was insults, defamation...and a huge list of complaints from his previous customers. It's really sad.
To correct a couple of other things:
GAIA Host has a 30 day cancellation term and we are always even flexible on that with communication from our customers.
We donate 20% of our hosting resources to non-profits.
We've donated $3500 to small local renewable energy projects.
And we do other wonderful things.
Please come check us out.
Review of gaiahost.coop by Jason on 2011/03/29 at 20:40Don't do business with Charles Uchu Strader of Gaia Host Collective. They are the most horrible web hosting company I've ever dealt with. I am so disgusted with them that I am actually taking the time out of my busy day to write this review, which probably no one will ever see anyway.
Their prices are way too much for hosting. I recommend going somewhere else like bluehost or hostgator. Charles Uchu Strader of Gaia Host Collective always has a really bad attitude when dealing with customers on the phone. He is arrogant and argumentative.
Make no mistake about it; once they have your money Gaia Host will treat you like garbage. It's just unbelievable.
