Review of reliablesite.net by Scott Bethfield on 2014/06/08 at 18:54I wouldn't consider myself very seasoned with Reliablesite just yet, I have only been with them for 4 months. During that 4 months I believe they have earned this reviews.
My server with reliablesite has had 0 downtime so far according to pingdom's 1 minute monitoring. The latency has been excellent all around and we have seen an increase in traffic from South America and Europe as our site is now loading much faster in those areas now.
Support is very fast, from the 3 support tickets I opened:
Ticket 1: Opened at 2 Am, answered within 7 minutes.
Ticket 2: Opened at 12 Pm, answered within 2 minutes.
Ticket 3: Opened at 4 Pm, answered within 5 minutes.
I don't know of any other dedicated server hosts that can provide the level of service at the price I pay for my server.
Review of reliablesite.net by James Crout on 2014/05/22 at 15:50I moved to reliablesite.net about 9 months ago due to the low pricing. I previously had servers with 4 different providers and now fully consolidated with reliablesite.
They seem to be getting better and better as time goes by.
-Support: Tickets are consistently answered within 5 - 15 minutes, regardless of urgency.
-Network: Never had an outage and so far the best latency I have had with any provider.
-Hardware: Superb, everything seems to be working correctly. There was a drive failure in my Raid array, the drive was replaced right away.
-Features: Some really cool stuff has been added to their dedicated panel. You can control the reverse Dns records, null route IPs, and automated DDoS detection for free.
Really enjoying the ride and planning on giving them more of my business in the upcoming months.
Review of reliablesite.net by Justen on 2013/07/01 at 02:34I purchased a server from your company and after sorting out some early issues on my end everything was going ok. Then I tested the port speed and instead of the advertised 1Gbps I purchased it was at 100Mbps, 10x lower than what I purchased.
I then requested them to fix it and they said they were looking into this and I haven't heard back in a reasonable amount of time yet. Next I wake up to my server being COMPLETELY down and unable to connect through Console or through my FTP. To add insult to injury when I contact support telling them it's down they tell me,
"This seems to be an OS related issue, please have a system administrator look at your server."
then send me to rack911.com. This is even after I told them I couldn't log into my FTP or my Console.
So what you get here is:
1. bad support who can't read/know enough about a server to realize that sending your clients to a 3rd party source to fix problems with their product is not good
2. False advertising about port speed
3. Slow support that apparently doesn't take your issue seriously.
I as their client am paying them $149 a month for the grievances that were listed above. Also note it took almost 3 days for my server to get set up. I purchased a server from another company and got it set up in less than an hour. Just because your website looks clean doesn't mean you know what you are doing.
I hope instead of deleting this their Social Media manager hops on Tech to get these issues fixed instead of letting support give me the run around. Would also be lovely if I got a free upgrade of my RAM for my troubles.
