Access denied for user. I didn't make any changes

I am seeing this message when I try to connect via php_admin and also receiving a similar error when trying to connect via my code…
“mysqli_connect(): (HY000/1045): ProxySQL Error: Access denied for user ‘xxxxxxxxx’@'2a02:4780:bad:f00d::12”

I didn’t make any changes to my password or the database, and everything was working fine yesterday. What is happening?

yea, it started working again about an 30 minutes later. so what happened?
