Can I change PHP version from 5.4 to 5.6 (or even 7.1) on my site?

Hey there,

So recently I was thinking if I can update my PHP version from cPanel from the current 5.4 to the newest 7.1 without having any compatibility issues and without destroying my site irreversibly. Anyone know if it’s safe or not to do this? I’m using SMF 2.0.11 as my site engine.

You can hot swap the PHP version as many times as you want via GENERAL SETTINGS on 000webhost.com and it won’t cause any issues! :slight_smile:
