A couple of hours ago I started to get the error “Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock’” in my PHP-scripts. Did I hit some limit?
The scripts weren’t changed, and everything had been working smoothly a couple of hours ago…

There’s some maintenance on one FTP server
Thanks for the reply. Any estimation when the maintenance will be over?
Not yet, but very soon!
More than 12 hrs have passed, and the problem is still there…
I’m wondering what “very soon” means in your estimation
Anyway it looks very strange that some FTP maintenance could block MySQL connection…
BTW phpMyAdmin works fine (same as 12+ hrs ago), so apparently the problem is related to something else.
It is working fine now Thanks!
