Database Error - Error establishing a database connection

I am unable to get to the wp-login.php page. I get the titled error and this screen

How I got to this point:

Couldn’t login to WP because even the hash I was given was not working as the password for the admin account

Tried to find solution in phpmyadmin

Changed the password for the myadmin account ; which is where I think the error started

eventually found login info in myadmin

Now it gives me this error.

If you head to manage database and set a new password then put that into wp-config.php and let me know how it goes.
I can assist directly if you still are having issues.

On the left select your database first then hit import.
