Hi

I am also having issues with my website database. The website is not loading correctly and when trying to access phpMyAdmin I intermittently get an error “#2006 - MySql server has gone away” When it does load I get database errors:

I did find this post Mysqli_query(): MySQL server has gone away however it was closed on 5 Feb with no resolution.

Are the admins still working on the problem? If they are, could they please keep the users informed.

The issue was solved after couple of hrs. That’s the reason the thread was closed.
Now that the issue has raised again…just try after some time…as 000webhost is working on this to fix soon.

Any idea how long it is going to take?

Also, I find that initial loading of my website takes quite long, any reason for this? The database is only 14Mb with 19 tables?

As this an internal issue…it should solve soon…but there is no exact time scale for this.

You can try clearing your cookies or you can try using cache plugins.
