How do i wordpress restore visual editor

Visual editor in my wordpress is no longer working,
please how do i restore it so that i can continue adding new pages.

When you go to your WordPress profile is there an option to disable/enable visual editor?

there is but i did not disable it. But i even tried to check and uncheck to see whether it would work, yet it did not work.
