How to change (upgrade or downgrade) PHP version of my website

New websites are setup with latest PHP version by default (currently PHP 7.2). 000webhost support all major versions of PHP.

There are many cases why you would like to switch to lower version of PHP. Gladly this is very easy to do in 000webhost panel.

  1. Login to members area
  2. Select your website you wish to change
  3. Go to Settings -> General
  4. Scroll down until section PHP version
  5. Click on Change PHP version and select new one

That is it. Your website now is served by new PHP version.

How can I downgrade from PHP version 7.0 to PHP version 5.6
