How to create sub-categories in a store

Is it possible to have sub-categories in a store.
Say i want to have top category as Vinyl with sub-categories as artist/band name , example click on top categories Vinyl which takes you to the sub-categories with a list of artist/band.

I know how to setup categories but don’t see a way of creating sub-categories.

@TigerRag I guess that depends upon the store you’re using.
If you don’t find such option to create sub-categories, Then try out some different store/cart
