Installing the dependencies locally is your choice (otherwise you would need a VPS to accomplish that), however if you are planning to upload the generated files here you might receive misconfiguration errors which are hard to dish out.
If your PHP app can be downloaded as ZIP with pre-instelled dependencies, I suggest you to use that one instead and upload it here.
