got this error while connecting to files.000webhost using filezilla

Normally that would indicate a firewall/router/local issue to yourself.
I’ve just tested your FTP and it is working fine and I’ve uploaded a test file too.
I would say try using “Site Manager” located under File top left on FileZilla and disabling encryption to see if this solves anything.
Else disable your computer antivirus/firewall temporarily to see if it this resolves, then if nothing changes check out a proxy or VPN like Windscribe or contact your network administrator.
