I can't use FTP "Home directory not available - aborting"

I get “Home directory not available - aborting” error when trying to use my ftp server. I can’t use filemanager either it “login details are not correct” I tried to change my password. Didn’t work. But I can access my website

but I can’t edit files through ftp

Same problem here, no access of FTP or file manager

I’m using 000webhost as preview for my site because I want to integrate FTP protocol into it.
I don’t want to make changes to my site to avoid downtime. Hence I use 000webhost to learn how to integrate FTP so that visitors can download drivers for their products. Like the OP, i’m having the same error message. I joined here so that I can find solutions to using 000webhost.

I have same problem with filezilla…

Response: 331 User bitcoinreward OK. Password required
Command: PASS **********
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

@Ryukein Try now it is working!!!

Also make sure that you use correct FTP username and password!!!

If it is still not solved try after some time…as this is a known issue, 000webhost team is working hard on this to solve as soon as possible!!!
