I have fixed the issue. Never use plugins listed in this article.

I am getting an application error again. i went in to update a plugin I had I dont know which one i was updating when this happen. can you please help? Thanks
I deleted w3 cache plugin folder, removed the .htaccess and restored default WordPress one.
It appears w3 was installed again.
