Mysql version with Pro and Free Hosting

Hi, If I buy the pro version is it possible to change the mysql version?
Now I have mysql 5.5.30 installed in the free web host but I need at least mysql 5.6, so I need to know if I can solve this problem passing from free to the pro version, thanks.

Where do you see 5.5.30 listed?

MySQL 5.7 is what the free hosting uses no?

Free hosting runs MariaDB version 10.1, which is backported from MySQL 5.7.

Freeium runs: 10.1.20-MariaDB as above and Premium runs: 10.0.28-MariaDB

Well, I have installed Wordpress and inside Avada (my theme)—> system status panel, It show mysql version 5.5.30 so this is the server host version.
Where do you see version 5.7 or MariaDB?

I see it when I open phpmyadmin on the database and run command select version() on the SQL tab.

Also the administrator has confirmed this with me

Thanks for your reply, I’ve launched the same command and indeed the version showed is 10.1.20-MariaDB.
Perfect
