New panel and email forwarder

#1

Hi,

1.If I don’t have files and database to backup, do I still need to do any thing to keep my website working?

  1. I’m using gmail to receive and reply my domain email, so I guess my domain email is forwarded to my gmail account already, do I still need to add email forwarder at 000webhost?

  2. Could you please confirm that if I (abovefamilycare.com) migrated to the new pane already?

Your site here

Is the files you need to backup

Take a backup of the public_html folder

Reupload your site to the new panel

#4

Hi,

Where can I find the public_ html folder? In C-PANEL?

#5

In your file manager, which you can access in the panel by clicking file manager and then upload files now.

#6

Hi,

When I click the file manager in C-PANEL, (File Manager File Manager 2 File Manager 3 ), that page just reloaded again.
There is no public_ html folder…

#7

Are you using the new panel or old panel?

#8

Hi Sulliops,

I am using the old panel and not able to get into the new panel yet.

Hi,

I am at the stage of
"Still logged into the control panel open a file manager that works"
When I click the file manager in C-PANEL, (File Manager File Manager 2 File Manager 3 ), that page just reloaded again.
No Directory Tree shows, thus there is no public_ html folder.
Seems none of the 3 file managers work.

#11

I used Zyro Website Builder to created my websites.

#12

Have you resolved this? @a8970375

@a8970375
Would this interest you? http://abovefamilycarewebv.000webhostapp.com/

If it would you can download the .zip here: http://abovefamilycarewebv.000webhostapp.com/AboveFamilyCareSite.zip

Just delete your old panel account by following the migration tutorial, then upload this zip to your new panel account and extract.

Then make sure to set your web address under “set web address”

Feel free to reply if you need anymore help.

Hi,

No.
It look like no one encounter this before so no one know how to deal with it.
“When I click the file manager in C-PANEL, (File Manager File Manager 2 File Manager 3 ), that page just reloaded again.
No Directory Tree shows, thus there is no public_ html folder.
Seems none of the 3 file managers work.”

Use FileZilla visit the tutorial section.
There is no promise that a site builder made website works once migrated though.

#16

Hi Infinity,

Your website is really good (only the location should be Calgary, AB, Canada).
But can you please advise how to edit it?

#17

@a8970375 You can use notepad to edit and make necessary changes !!!

Or your can use wordpress with such available themes.

#18

Using Google Maps search your location exactly and then share, embed, and pull the code it gives you replacing the code already in the contact.php file and the contact.html file if you want.

I’ve made the edits to the files, rezipped and reuploaded if that helps…

Hi,

Is there anyone know why all the file managers in my C-PANEL are not working?
Because my site was created by Zyro Website Builder?

#20

It may be that.

Try using FileZilla to connect to your site.
