Site gives a 404 error when www not in URL

Hello,

I migrated today from the old CPanel and since then I cannot acces my site if I don’t put www in before the domain name: robertofabbroni.com gives a 404 error but www.robertofabbroni.com works normally.

Do I need to change anything on my end?

Already cleaned the cookies as it was suggested in other posts, but nothing changed. The issue is the same on every browser and also on my phone.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

The site works fine for me with or without WWW. I know you said you cleaned cookies, but you also need to clear cache.

Thanks for replying. I cleaned both, cookies and cache. I keep getting redirected to "http://error404.000webhost.com/?" when trying to access robertofabbroni.com.

If I enter “https://robertofabbroni.com/” in the address bar the connection times out.

Strange…

It will time out with HTTPS because 000webhost doesn’t support SSL on custom domains. If you want SSL, check out my tutorial below.

I don’t know what to tell you as far as the redirect, because it’s working perfectly fine over here. Try using https://browserling.com and entering your site without WWW and it should load fine, indicating that the issue is on your side.

Thank you very much for your help.

What solved the problem was restarting the router. Would have never thought of it.

Thanks
