I am using Duplicator to migrate my old Wordpress site to my new one on 000webhost.
Its getting stuck at the database connection stage.
The address is ‘localhost’, but I wonder if 000webhost have an ip address I should put in there instead?
Nope, it’s localhost
Are you sure you inputted the correct credentials?
Also, you can’t create a new database, please select another option
I got the info from the wp-config on my previous site
define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘…■■■…’);
/** MySQL database username */
define(‘DB_USER’, ‘…■■■…’);
/** MySQL database password */
define(‘DB_PASSWORD’, ‘…■■■…’);
(obviously I put …■■■… in place of the real info!)
And are you sure those are correct?
Instead of Create New database, I chose the other option “Connect and Remove all data”. Disdnt work.
I guess I’ll just have to create from scrratch and ditch the migrate : (
