[TUTORIAL] How login to 000webhost email account if server in down

A direct way to enter the mail server to 000webhost is using the following addresses:
http://webmail.000webhost.com/squirrelmail/src/login.php
http://webmail.000webhost.com/roundcube/

Errm…

Are you sure this is a tutorial? I ask because it has the distinct smell of phish.

And where is the ‘Report this post’ button on this forum?

Um, ya…thanks but no thanks. There are plenty of other (reputable) ways to check just about any standard webmail account. I’m not even using using those much less handing my password over to you.

And yes, I second the motion that this should probably be removed.

Considering RoundCube already makes a download version,

I would have to say PASS. no pun intended hahahahahaha!

Echo442, I am sure you meant well but, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

when you login you are login in to your email on mx.000webhost.com roundcube is just a webmail client and no data is saved on to my website

http://roundcube.net/.is a browser-based multilingual IMAP client with an application-like user interface. It provides full functionality you expect from an e-mail client, including MIME support, address book, folder manipulation, message searching and spell checking.

roundcubemail-0.8-beta/config/main.inc.php |
// the mail host chosen to perform the log-in
// leave blank to show a textbox at login, give a list of hosts
// to display a pulldown menu or set one host as string.
// To use SSL/TLS connection, enter hostname with prefix ssl:// or tls://
// Supported replacement variables:
// %n - http hostname ($_SERVER[‘SERVER_NAME’])
// %d - domain (http hostname without the first part)
// %s - domain name after the ‘@’ from e-mail address provided at login screen
// For example %n = mail.domain.tld, %d = domain.tld
$rcmail_config[‘default_host’] = ‘mx.000webhost.com’;

Hello,

For direct access to mail 000webhost is not necessary to go through your website. Note that if the web server is down is possible that your website is also down.

A direct way to enter the mail server to 000webhost is using the following addresses:

http://webmail.000webhost.com/squirrelmail/src/login.php
http://webmail.000webhost.com/roundcube/

In this way, you avoid overloading your website and also prevents the user can (I do not say that it is) becoming a victim of phishing.

ok and thanks you can close this post
